The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has officially released the Round 6 seat allotment result today, July 16, 2025, at 5:00 PM. This is the final round of counselling for admissions into IITs, NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs under the JoSAA process.

Based on the seat allotted in Round 6, candidates can choose from the following:

💰 Seat Acceptance Fee (SAF) Details
For General/EWS/OBC: ₹30,000
For SC/ST/PwD: ₹15,000
After seat acceptance, a partial admission fee is required for NIT+, which is:
₹45,000 for General/EWS/OBC
₹20,000 for SC/ST/PwD candidates
This fee is separate from the SAF and must be paid between July 23 – 27, 2025.

IIT Allotment is final – You cannot withdraw after accepting an IIT seat.
NIT+ Withdrawal option is available till July 21 for those who want to exit.
No further JoSAA rounds – this was the final allotment round.
Spot rounds for NIT+/IIITs/GFTIs will be held under CSAB 2025.
